WITH THE SECOND EDITION OF LINEAPELLE INTERIORS,
LINEAPELLE CELEBRATES ITALIAN LEATHER AND MATERIALS
AS INNOVATIVE PROTAGONISTS OF INTERIOR DESIGN

At Fiera Milano Rho, from February 25 to 27, Lineapelle (the world’s leading business experience for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chain) hosts the second edition of the exhibition project dedicated to furnishings, involving 37 companies and presenting 19 plus 1 new installations.

Scheduled from February 25 to 27 at Fiera Milano Rho, LINEAPELLE (the world’s leading business experience for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chain) presents the second edition of LINEAPELLE INTERIORS, its exhibition project dedicated to the fusion of leather and materials with furnishings. Floors, walls, tables, chairs, screens, sofas, children’s rooms, and bathrooms come together to promote, enhance, and develop the innovative excellence of the supply chain in the interior design sector.

Lineapelle Interiors is a project conceived to activate, through styling actions and product development, collaborative connections with the world of Italian and international design and architecture.
“Our event,” explains Gianni Russo, President of Lineapelle, “is a model of Design Economy, thoughtfully created and strongly supported to help the sector, as well as design companies, become more competitive.”

The partnership between Italian leather manufacturers, innovative materials producers, and design firms will be showcased in a 1,000 square meter space inside Pavilion 24 of LINEAPELLE. Here, 19 plus 1 installations will tell the story of a dialogue that opens new paths in interior furnishings. Starting from “the exceptional quality of Made in Italy leather, which with its value,” comments Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle and General Director of UNIC – Italian Tanneries, “becomes a source of inspiration for architects and designers.”

The installations debuting at Rho Fiera are the result of a collaboration between 37 companies involved in 19 duets, pairing an Italian producer of leather surfaces and other materials with a design studio, including international ones.

“The transformation of Made in Italy semi-finished products into design items,” explains Maurizio Molini, Creative Director of Lineapelle Interiors, “helps communicate their value, amplifying their international appeal. From the creation of new products to the identification of new markets, research and creativity form the intangible infrastructure of the Italian Design Economy: a system supported by a culture of manufacturing entrepreneurship and a solid training network, both capable of attracting talent internationally.”

The result is a series of projects highlighting technological and applicative innovations in leather and materials through a unique pathway of interior design solutions, all waiting to be discovered.
